The next meeting concerning the Vincennes City Pool will be February 28th.
Back in September, a public meeting was held at city hall where 70 to 80 people attended and ideas and concerns were aired on building a new pool, building something other than a pool or doing nothing at all.
At that meeting, it was announced that Hafer and Associates, an Evansville architect firm, was hired to conduct a design and feasability study which is now complete. Vincennes Parks Superintendent Steve Beamon is expecting to view the study any day. He says the study's findings will be presented at the meeting..
Beamon says no decision on how to proceed will be made at the meeting.
Again... the next pool meeting is February 28th. It will be held at the FortNighly Club at 6-pm.
